1. Deposit & Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required before the painting process begins.
  • This deposit covers the purchase of materials and is non-refundable upon cancellation.

2. Image Quality

  • Please provide a high-resolution reference image. The level of detail in your artwork depends on the quality of the image supplied.

3. Artwork Pricing Factors

  • Size: Larger sizes require more materials and time.
  • Medium: Acrylic paintings generally cost more than pencil sketches due to material costs and perceived value.
  • Number of Faces: Each additional face significantly increases complexity and time.
  • Detail: Intricate details (clothing, jewelry, backgrounds) may increase price and/or estimated completion time.
  • Framing & Finishing: Pencil sketches are delivered unframed. Framing can be offered as an add-on service.
  • Varnish & Block Frame: Included in acrylic paintings for durability and longevity.

4. Timeline

  • Estimated completion time is 1–3 months, depending on size, detail, and current workload.
  • Rush orders may incur an additional fee.

5. Delivery

  • Pickup is available at no extra cost.
  • Courier is billed separately based on your region.

6. Copyright & Usage

  • The artist retains copyright of the artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Images provided will be handled in compliance with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).

7. Agreement

By checking the box on the form, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

Our Art Refund and Return Policy ensures transparency and fairness for every purchase.
At artsalawrence.co.za, we want you to love your artwork. If your purchase doesn’t meet expectations, our refund and return policy makes the process simple and fair.

Eligibility for Refund

  • Defective or Damaged Items: If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, we provide a full refund or replacement.
  • Incorrect Order: If you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately. We’ll send the correct item and cover return shipping.
  • Change of Mind: If you change your mind, we offer a partial refund minus shipping costs. Please email us for approval before returning.

Refund Process

  • Notify Us: Email info@artsalawrence.co.za within 7 days of delivery.
  • Return Shipping: We cover shipping for defective or incorrect items. For change-of-mind returns, you pay return shipping.
  • Inspection: We check returned items to confirm they’re in original condition.
  • Refund Issuance: We process approved refunds within 5–7 business days.

Conditions

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging.
  • Returns must start within 7 days of delivery.
  • Custom commissions and sale items are non-refundable unless defective.
